A one-of-a-kind credential set in Delaware. Dr. Syed is the only dentist in the state to hold an Academy of General Dentistry Mastership (MAGD) and Diplomate-level board certifications in implantology from both the American Board of Oral Implantology (DABOI) and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (DICOI).
His family practice in Wilmington, DE offers general dentistry, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, including TMJ therapy and implants. He uses his knowledge, experience, and an unyielding pursuit of excellence to create healthy, natural-looking smiles.
Dr. Syed graduated from Temple University with a B.S. in Psychology and earned his DMD from Temple University School of Dentistry. He completed his residency at Christiana Care Hospital.
While studying with the prestigious Dawson Academy, he mastered the concepts of smile design, occlusal philosophy, treatment planning, and dental photography. He also finished an implantology continuum at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. He is a well-rounded dentist who loves his profession and continually updates his education. Dr. Syed is a proud member of the American Board of Oral Implantology (ABOI) and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), and he holds dual board certifications in dental implant placement from the American Board of Oral Implantology and the International Congress of Osseointegration.

Mastership Recognition (MAGD)
The Mastership Award is the highest honor available from the Academy of General Dentistry and one of the most respected designations in the profession. It is given to dentists who, after earning Fellowship by completing 500 approved continuing-education hours and passing a comprehensive exam, go on to complete an additional 600 approved course hours through the AGD.
Earning Mastership meant Dr. Syed completed 1,100 hours of continuing dental education across the 16 disciplines of dentistry — including 400 hours of hands-on skills and techniques. With this recognition, he joined the small community of more than 2,200 AGD members nationwide who have committed to going above and beyond basic requirements for the sake of their patients' oral health.
The Academy of General Dentistry's leadership has highlighted Dr. Syed's commitment to continuing education and to providing his patients with advanced, exceptional oral health care — recognizing his dedication to the dental community and his patients alike.
